[fr. changeable, variable]

The design vocabulary employs a classic, timeless aesthetic, leaning towards functionalism and foregoing all superfluous details. In order to compensate for the sense that the parallel sides of the bag ‘drift apart’ when viewed from the above, the lines in the upper section are slightly slanted. The chains attached at the front break up the surface in the middle and also serve as the base in the folded version of the bag. Both the larger and the smaller styles reflect a precise geometric construction whilst meeting the requirement to provide as much space as possible. Here the combination of a strong, stable structure and soft, flowing materials that can adjust to the bag’s contents also play their part. The bag has no press studs. Instead, magnets gently glide together but are still strong enough to keep the bag’s contents safe and to stabilise the variable shape. The relaxed drape of the large-link chains is a conscious strong contrast to the straight lines of the basic shape.
